• Establishing Deep-Sea Marine Protection and Expanded Conservation Coverage in Peru

  Peru created a huge ocean park in 2021 to protect deep-sea life like whales and turtles. This big step helps Peru reach its goal to save 30 percent of its land and sea by 2030. Peru is also working with local groups to protect even more nature.
